Hello Sonam,
Kuzuzangpo La!
Over all we had an excellent vacation.
Both the people and the country of Bhutan is beautiful.
The trip was also made special due to the excellent guide and driver we had.
Some brief comments and feedback on the hotels we stayed.
1. Hotel Norbuling - the rooms and toilets need renovations, has the old smell in the rooms. Too many dogs outside the hotel making noise late in the night.
2. Hotel Lobesa - excellent location, new and clean, very good service, and the food in this hotel is really good.
3. Metta Resort & Spa - nice location & view, however the rooms & toilets need renovations. The dinner we had in this hotel was very bad.
Regards, Gerald Fernandez

Hi Sonam,
Thanks for your email. I enjoyed my stay in Bhutan.
Both my guide and driver (KP and Tandin) were great and made my stay there a fun and memorable one. I have written lots of good stuff about them in the feedback form that I passed to KP on my last day in Bhutan hence you may want to refer to that. Here are the photos for sharing.
Thanks & regards, Nena

We are back in Saigon; all good. VERY nice week. Some comments:
* Sad that the guide (KP) have to leave Wednesday, so we only had the driver on the Thursday (Tiger Nest day). Understand KP had family issue, something with the sister dead. No problem for us. * I do think the program for the days could be a little longer or maybe just us been too fast. * Too much driving, but not possible to change – we all do understand, it is Bhutan * Local food is good, but we got a lot and little too much – so no more Chill Cheese * Guide was VERY good and his knowledge, just fantastic. English easy to understand

Dear Sonam,
Hi, I am with the group of Yvette Barez who went to Bhutan 2 weeks ago. Thank you for a great adventure. We all had a memorable trip, the food was great, the accommodation superb. I have recommended it to my friends who have been impressed by our pictures and stories and I gave them your email address. May I have the email address of our guide Ugyen Tenzin?
Thanks, Alisa

Hi Sonam,
My holiday in Bhutan was amazing. I’ve been talking about it with friends, family and colleagues!
Thanks so much for your help to get everything organize in a short time. We did more trekking than what’s in the original itinerary. Khang Residency was a pleasant surprise on our first 2 nights. The room was very spacious and well equipped and the bathroom floor was heated which was much appreciated when we were there. Apart from occasional dog barking which was bearable, we were very happy in Khang Residency.
The last 2 nights in Uma Paro was short of my expectation of a 5 star hotel though. Power tripped many times on our first night without any efforts on service recovery. Maybe my expectation of a 5 star hotel in a typical big city was too much for Paro.

I enjoyed every minute of my visit to Bhutan. It was simply beautiful to say the least. I consider that the highlight of my visit to that part of the world, i.e. Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. Bhutan was the least polluted of the 3 countries. How I wish it wasn’t that expensive, haha. I hope to be able to go again. I hope to see you again one day.

We’re finally back from the long planned Bhutan trip, leaving behind wonderful memories. Would like to take the opportunity herein to thank you & team for the arrangement.
Tshering Penjor has been an excellent trekking guide and a good time keeper. We have been able to enjoy the overall trip at a leisure pace. Pho Chhu Suspension Bridge & Me-Bar Tsho (Burning Lake) are some of the great places we've visited. The journey to Bumthang and back to Paro/Thimphu can be tiring. Seemingly, we like Paro best. We are pleased that the weather turns better in the last couple of days in Paro, allowing us to appreciate the awesome scenery.

Everything went perfect; my flight of Drukair landed on the picturesque Paro valley. It was noon. I was very much welcomed by Ms Kinley a tour guide from DrukAsia. We proceeded to Punakha to visit Fort which is huge building, a portion of it is currently serving as local administrations and the rest of it contains monastery & temples. Past the green valley, hills and roadside fruit sellers, we back to Thimphu.
Spent night at Kisa Hotel. We ventured Thimphu city in the morning and visited Art & Craft centre and the giant Buddha in construction. From the top of the hill, I saw a small but beautiful city embraced by surrounding valleys. No noise, no pollution, no crowd & no high-rise habitat; a river flows quietly through the city.

An unique experience! We had wonderful time in Bhutan. Though it was a short trip, we enjoyed natural beauty, spectacular view and warm friendly people. We have been many countries but this trip was something different, ...memorable and nostalgic.
