We would like to thank our tour guide Sonam Lhendup and driver Pasang Tshering for making our trip so memorable. Pasang is a very careful and helpful driver. He never speeded, managed to drive very smoothly and safely. Sonam is very caring, responsible, knowledgeable and passionate. He explained the cultural and historical significance of every place we went, listening to him was highly entertaining. He always helped us took photos at every place we went. Sonam and Pasang had prepared a picnic lunch for us at Punakha. It was a memorable experience for us. Sonam is very patient and encouraging during the trekking trip to Khamsum Yuley Temple and Tiger’s Nest. On the day trek to Tiger’s Nest, it was raining, we didn’t bring raincoat so Sonam had prepared umbrellas and walking sticks for us. On the way, he helped to carry our backpack and the umbrellas when it stopped raining. He stopped and waited for us when we were tired. He is a nature lovers and could highlight the beauty of the nature during the trekking trip. He also spotted and took photos of some residential birds for us during the Tiger’s Nest trek. Trek to Tiger’s nest was the highlight of the trip and we totally love the experience!
