Dear Sangay, Thank you so much. My dad and I had enjoyed ourselves very much to Bhutan. I would give you a detailed feedback. Lodging: The hotel Norbuling staff at Thimphu were exceptionally warm and polite to us. We are very happy with the spacious room provided by this hotel. Dinner and breakfast at this hotel was excellent too. The massage was superb too. Vara Hotel at Punakha has spacious room but the toilet has a smell (think maybe because of the gas for heater), though there was no television, I have no complain because the surrounding was full of nature activity, I had a fun time watching the sparrows. The food they provide was not as good as compared to Norbuling but acceptable. Massage not that good as they do only have a special bed, they make use of hotel bed. Farm stay was fantastic. The hospitality of the owner, his wife and we had a great time with their 3 boys too, youngest 6 months. It brought back lots of good old memories that we had of the village lifestyle we used to stay before Singapore became developed. Food though simple but very appetising, yummy. Metta Resort's room was spacious too and environment good. But unfortunately for us the day that we checked in there was super heavy downpour and while showering, the water supply became very slow which made me caught a cold... The next morning, there was completely no water supply and I had to ask the staff to carry a bucket of water to my room for washing up. Other than that food was okay, my dad enjoyed the nasi lemak but I was too sick to eat. Transport: The 7 seater MPV was very comfortable and luxurious, thank you. Guide and Driver: I nominated K.P (Kinley Penjor) and Kuenzang (do not know if I spell his name correctly) to be the best driver and guide. They were always punctual if not early to pick us up, made every effort to satisfy our requests whether it was food or places to go or anything. They were also very caring to my 72 year old father, a big applause to them :) Food: Excellent. Both provided by Hotel, farm stay or lunch outside. We enjoyed a lot. Except the last restaurant we visited for lunch at Paro, a lot of houseflies. (Cannot remember name though) Special Request: We requested to visit a school and K.P arranged for us to visit Betha Community School of Gangtey. It was very rewarding, we had a great time with the students there :) I thank Druk Asia again for letting us enjoy this trip thoroughly. Feedback: on the 1st day of tour as we had to wake up around 430am in Singapore and travel around 5 hours to Bhutan, maybe should cut down on number of places to visit. Because of the time difference, probably should arrange for dinner to be 6pm Bhutan time (Singapore time 8pm) instead of usual 7pm Bhutan time ( Singapore 9pm).
