9 Testimonials for Pema Wangda
My guide, Mr Pema Wangda, and driver, Mr Lobzang Choida, were such a good dedicated team who strive to give the absolute best experience to their guest. In my numerous travels, never have I encountered a driver or guide who would see to opening the car door every single time for their guest or bother to check if their guest was adequately hydrated during a long ride - this I must say, is true dedication and service.

We would like to show my great appreciate to Sonam, who did an excellent job in planning the trip and always ready to reply any queries we had. All the bookings went smoothly, and we had excellent seats on the plane. Thank you so much for all your time and effort in organizing our trip.
Our tour guide Pema Wangda was excellent and we could not have asked for anyone better! He took my entire family's needs into consideration and executed the trip accordingly. We all agreed it was one of the best holidays we ever had and we all felt sad to leave! Panda was also an amazing driver and always there to help out anytime we need anything. We had such a great team with us, we could not ask for more!
We are very appreciative to both Pema and Panda (Nidup), and have definitely become friends.

Hi Sonam,
Our trip was absolutely wonderful and the weather was kind to us even though we travelled during monsoon season. It only rained in the evening during for last 2 days. With Druk Asia, we have the option and flexibility of seeing as much as possible but at realistic pace for maximum enjoyment. Thanks Sonam for your assistance, advice and pre-arrangements. We had a great time with our guide Pema and our safe driver Thinley. Pema is professional, knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful while Thinley was very pleasant and encouraging especially during the Tiger's Nest Hiking. Once again, thanks Sonam.
Regards, Veena & family

Hi Sonam,
Following 3 days hiked along the Paro river, among many of the 47 species of Rhododendron, & luckily spotting the national flower - blue poppy. Lucky with the weather, we had excellent views of Jomolhari from the base camp, then did an acclimatization hike from there up to 4800 m, & found a large herd of blue sheep and some marmots. Attempted to cross the Bonte La pass, however un-seasonal snow made it impossible for our pack animals, we waded into 1 m deep snow, then retreated the way we came in a sleet storm.
3 nights in the capital Thimphu visiting more temples, big surprise there was finding an excellent Irish coffee! Last full day hiked up to the famous tigers nest temple, scrambled down into a narrow slot within, to find some Buddhist porn.
Our guide Pema, taught me a lo

Dear Sangay,
Kuzuzangpo la!
Apologies for the delay as I have finally sorted through all my photos from this lifetime trip! I have attached herewith some group photos and please feel free to share them on your website! :)
Many thanks once again for making it so easy to organise this tour. Everything right from the initial online enquiry to after coming back home was properly arranged for. I will strongly recommend Druk Asia to everyone who is planning a trip to Bhutan, genuinely a paradise to escape to.
We thoroughly enjoyed the entire 10 days of cultural tour from the buzzing west part of Bhutan, Thimphu, to the beautiful region in the south, Punakha, then a visit of the amazing festival, Ura Yakchoe in central. Everyone we came across on the tour has generously shown us the warm

Hello Sangay,
Happy New Year! We had a wonderful time in Bhutan. The scenery is beautiful beyond words and the people are all so welcoming and nice. The guide and driver were excellent, they were very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. We've had clear blue sky everyday and the cold was as expected and bearable. What wasn't expected was the altitude sickness which few of us experienced, but it wasn't too bad and did not hamper us from enjoying ourselves.
The hotels were all good but Uma Punakha was great. Besides the beautiful scenery the service was outstanding. We spent the New Year's Eve there and unfortunately the boys both fell sick around dinner time so they skipped dinner and went back to the room to rest. My husband and I were obviously worried but the hotel manager calmed
